I have never been a huge fan of Yo La Tengo... I thought they were and are good, but I must have missed something in their indie/Americana/latin style. And anyway, I always had Calexico when I needed that type of fix. However, I do really enjoy this song.
Stuart Murdock also puts out a great number here too... that is Belle & Sebastian for those of you who don't know.
Today's release is a nice ambient work by Riceboy Sleeps...
It is surprising to me that this compilation really has no dead spots on it... from older artists to newer ones...
